During the return trip after our Thanksgiving weekend at Kristina’s Dad’s house, we stopped to see the huge cross in Groom, TX.
It is described as the largest cross in the western hemisphere, being 190 feet tall, 110 feet wide, and weighing 1250 tons.
It is surrounded by life-size sculptures depicting scenes of Christ’s persecution and crucifixion.
It was quite amazing, to say the least.
